Testing on mobile browsers
Here is a tip to enable you to quickly test how a web page responds on a mobile browser direct from your laptop/desktop without having to take your phone out.
Most desktop browsers have their own app stores which containing apps that can be added to the browser. The two I use are Chrome and Firefox.
Just get the User Agent Switcher (UAS) App from either or both app stores and add it to your browser. Then, whenever you are on a web page and want to test how it will look and behave on a mobile device, you can click the UAS icon in the browser and refresh the page. You might want to re-size the page as well because if a page is responsive it will change according to the screen size.
